Past, Present and Future Scrapbook Cover Instructions
This scrapbook was created for Maggie's wedding by her childhood friends. It has pictures and memories of their youth as well as space for her wedding and honeymoon pictures.
Step one: Create the wire letters in plain, fiber wrapped or beaded. For instructions on how to make the letters, visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. When your letters are finished, sew them onto a fabric square of your choosing and add charms where you see fit. We recommend pewter charms as they will take longer to tarnish than silver and they come in silver, gold and copper finishes. When you have the fabric just as you like it, glue it to the cover of your scrapbook using Gem Tac adhesive.
Step two: Cut a length of 7/8 inch organza ribbon in a color of your choosing to approximately 48 inches (for a 12½ inch book). Tie the bow securely around the cover of your book and using Nymo D thread, sew a Swarovski crystal heart pendant to the center of the bow.
Step three: Arrange Swarovski hotfix crystal flatback rhinestones as you like them on the ribbon and affix them using a Bejeweler or Bejeweler Pro.
