Tip: If you are new to stringing, or would like to double check the lengths of your strands before you finish the project, utilize Bead Stoppers instead of crimping the wire to the clasp right away. You may want to adjust your lengths and it is far easier to do before you have made a crimp in your wire.
Step one: You will need to use Bead Stoppers for this idea. To create the bail for the pendant, cut a length of Soft Touch .019 jewelry wire to approximately six inches. You will trim most of this away, but the extra length is very beneficial for tightening the wire. Run the wire through the Swarovski cosmic pendant and string a 12mm Swarovski polygon bead in the front of the pendant. The crystal golden shadow does have a front and back, the coating should be on the back. At the back of the pendant string three of the round seed beads from the mixed pack followed by a 2x2mm crimp tube. Add a bead stopper to that end of the wire. On the front, above the polygon, you will string a round seed bead followed by a 5.5mm violet Swarovski simplicity bead, another seed bead, a 4mm Swarovski tanzanite bicone, another seed bead, a bugle bead and one more seed bead. Thread the wire through the crimp in the opposite direction of the first, pull both wires until the beads are tight against the crimp tube, and crimp. Snip the excess wire and set the pendant aside.
Step two: On one of the outside loops of both sides of the toggle clasp, attach a sterling silver open jump ring. On one side, add approximately 23 inches of flattened diamond link sterling silver chain. Close the jump ring. On the same jump ring, crimp a plum colored silk cord, using a 3x3mm sterling silver crimp tube. We simply flattened ours with chain nose pliers. Weave the cord through the chain about every three inches or so. Before attaching the combination to the other side of the toggle clasp, add the pendant to this strand. Once the pendant in strung, you can add the chain to the other side of the toggle, crimp the silk cord, and trim the excess.
Step three: Cut a length of Soft Flex jewelry wire to approximately 21 inches and using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube, crimp one end to the center loop of the toggle clasp. String a 4mm sterling silver roundel followed by five inches of violet button pearls. Add a 4mm sterling roundel followed by a violet nugget pearl. Repeat this until you have 15 pearls, and add one more roundel. String another five inches of violet button pearls, another roundel, and crimp the wire to the center loop at the other end of the toggle clasp.
Step four: For the third strand of your design, cut a length of Soft Flex to approximately 18 inches. Crimp one end to the final loop of your toggle clasp. You will do a random mix on this strand of the Toho bead mix, Swarovski 12mm polygon amethyst beads, Swarovski 4.5mm simplicity beads in crystal golden shadow and violet, 4mm Swarovski tanzanite AB faceted bicones, 6mm amethyst round beads, 3mm sterling silver seamless round beads and 3-3.5mm peacock button pearls. Our designer built in some symmetry for the bigger beads, but it is up to you to decide how you would like your strand to look. When you have strung approximately 16 inches, crimp the other end of the wire to the remaining loop on the toggle and trim the excess wire.
