Vintage Garden Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Swarovski Rivoli rhinestones can be fun to add to any style. Cynthia glued them into TierraCast frame charms and added them to a bangle along with other cute TierraCast charms. The result is a sparkling, eclectic bracelet full of vintage appeal. You can find more inspiration for using Rivoli rhinestones in your jewelry designs in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Step one: Glue a Swarovski SS47 Rivoli in Crystal Luminous Green into a TierraCast 1mm brass oxide pewter Rivoli frame charm using 5-minute two-part epoxy. Glue a Swarovski SS47 Rivoli in Crystal Lilac Shadow into a Rivoli frame charm in the same manner. Allow to dry.
Step two: Attach the Crystal Lilac Shadow Rivoli charm to the hole at the center of the TierraCast brass oxide 20 gauge bangle bracelet using a 6mm antique brass-plated open jump ring. This should be the hole that looks like it's punched through two layers of the bangle. For help opening and closing jump rings, please see this video.
Step three: Attach the Crystal Luminous Green Rivoli charm to the hole to the right of the first charm added using a 6mm jump ring. This should be the hole right after the snap closure design on the bangle. Attach a TierraCast brass oxide pewter reversible Jardin round charm to the loop on the Rivoli charm using another 6mm jump ring.
Step four: Add a TierraCast brass oxide pewter reversible Jardin triangle charm and a TierraCast brass oxide pewter reversible small Flora ring link to an 8mm antique brass-plated open jump ring. Attach the jump ring to the hole to the left of the Crystal Lilac Shadow Rivoli charm.
Step five: Cut a seven-inch length of Artbeads Designer Wire in 24 gauge Vintage Bronze. Use it to attach the TierraCast brass oxide pewter reversible Amor bar link to the next hole over from the Crystal Luminous Green Rivoli charm. Create a messy wrap to secure the link to the hole. Repeat this process to attach the other end of the link to the next hole over.
