Verdant Meadows Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Refreshing colors of grass green, dewy blue and floral red come together in this cheerful Mommy and Me set. This project is a great idea for jewelry-making with a child or teen. You'll both love the beautiful colors on display in these bracelets!
Step one: Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 10 inches long. Slide a sterling silver 2x2 crimp tube onto the wire, followed by a sterling silver 4.60mm open jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube, so that it forms a loop around the jump ring. Crimp in place. For help with crimping, please see our Handy Tip. String approximately 36 fire-polished 4mm fuchsia beads onto the wire. Slide on a crimp tube and then crimp the end of the wire to a 4.60mm jump ring. Trim any excess wire.
Step two: Repeat step one for the other strands of the bracelet, using the fire-polished 4mm olivine beads for one strand and the fire-polished 4mm sunset beads for the other.
Step three: Connect the ends of the strands to half of the TierraCast 3/8-inch antique silver-plated pewter Anna's toggle clasp using a sterling silver 6.10mm jump ring. For help opening jump rings, please see our Jump Ring Handy Tip Video.
Step four: Braid the beaded strands together. When you reach the end, attach the ends of the strands to the other half of the toggle set using a 6.10mm jump ring. Attach the TierraCast antique silver monarch charm to the center of one of the strands using a 6.10mm jump ring.
Step one: Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 11 inches long. Slide a crimp tube onto the wire, followed by a 4.60mm jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place. String approximately seven inches of seed beads from the Artbeads Blue Lagoon Designer Blend. Slide on a crimp tube and then crimp the end of the wire to a 4.60mm jump ring. Trim any excess wire. Repeat this step two times, for a total of six strands, or three sets of two strands on the same jump ring.
