Candy Heart Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Remember those whimsical, fun candy hearts we exchanged in our youth? They have been replicated in sterling silver! Choose your favorites to make this playful bracelet for yourself or as a memorable gift.
Step one: Cut a length of ZambaPro™ 49 .019 jewelry wire to approximately nine inches. Attach one end of the wire to a sterling silver open jump ring using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube. For detailed instructions on how to use a crimp tube, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Cover with a crimp cover. Attach the jump ring to the bar end of a 14mm sterling silver twisted heart toggle clasp.
Step two: Prepare your charms by removing the original jump ring they come with and adding three oval jump rings to all but one, two jump rings to the final one. That one will be attached nearest the clasp.
Step three: Begin stringing your beads. The pattern you will use will be separated by 4mm sterling silver daisy spacers between each bead. The pattern also begins and ends with a spacer. It goes as follows: 4mm white cat's eye bead, 6mm pink cat's eye bead, 4mm white cat's eye bead, 6mm Swarovski faceted rounded bicone crystal AB, white cat's eye, pink cat's eye then an 8mm Swarovski faceted round fuchsia bead. After stringing the fuchsia bead, you will add a candy heart charm. Between the charms you will string a 6mm pink cat's eye bead, 4mm white cat's eye bead, 6mm Swarovski crystal faceted rounded bicone crystal AB, and reverse the pattern out to the fuchsia round again. Add another charm and repeat this pattern again. Finish the bracelet by reversing the first segment you made, so that you end up with a 4mm white cat's eye bead and daisy spacer near the clasp.
Step four: When the design is completed, finish by attaching the end of the wire to another open oval jump ring with a crimp tube. Attach your final charm (with two jump rings to that jump ring. Cover with a crimp cover and attach the jump ring to the heart end of the toggle clasp. Trim the excess wire, and you have a beautiful bracelet!
