Show your "spirit" this Halloween with this fun, two strand Halloween charm necklace.
Step one: Cut two lengths of Soft Touch jewelry wire to approximately 24 inches. Using a 3x3mm crimp tube and a mighty crimper tool, attach the wires to one end of the toggle clasp. String both wires through the same crimp tube. For instructions on how to use a crimp tube, please visit the Handy Tips of the Learning Center. Cover the crimp tube with a sterling silver Bali spacer. Add closed jump rings to the existing jump rings on all the charms to give them more length. Set them aside.
Step two: String the beads onto the wires in a semi-random pattern. You will space the 8mm dark grey cat's eye beads about an inch and a half apart on one of the strands with a random mix of 4mm orange cat's eye beads, 6mm orange cat's eye beads and 4mm Swarovski jet faceted round beads. When you have strung about seven inches of beads, add a charm, string two more inches, add another charm, two more inches and your final charm. Finish with seven more inches of beads on that strand. Clip the end of the strand into a Bead Stopper while you work on the other side to prevent the beads from sliding off the strand.
Step three: On the second strand the pattern is even more random and you will add in bali beads and spacers for a splash of silver. When you have both strands completed, crimp them to the other side of your toggle clasp using a 3x3mm crimp tube. Remember to make the last bead a spacer to fit over the crimp.
