Make your own Christmas cards this year with beautiful papers and crystals, festive charms and colorful beads and fibers for a personal greeting for someone special on your list. You can use craft paper of your choosing for this fun project. For Christmas gift card ideas please click here.
Step one: Cut a 7x5-inch piece of paper for the card and fold in half so that you have a 3½x5-inch card. Set aside.
Step two: Create a die-cut shape from craft paper of your choosing and cut two slits along the top edge for the necklace ribbon. Attach a contrasting die-cut shape for the backdrop for the one tree on clear glass pendant with Terrifically Tacky tape. Use a smaller die-cut shape and tape it to the back for a pocket to hold the excess necklace ribbon. Use a Bejeweler to decorate the front with Swarovski ss12, ss16 and ss20 rose hotfix flatbacks. Step three: Cut a length of bright pink silk string and attach it to the pendant. Knot both ends. Position the pendant on the front of the backdrop and fit the silk string through the slits on the edge of the die-cut. Coil up the excess necklace string and tuck it into the pocket.
Step four: Attach three self adhesive foam mounts to the back of the pendant card. Peel off the backing from the other side of the mount and attach the pendant card to the card from step one.
