Ricks beading loomJuly 19, 2014
love it! The setup was super easy and in about 5 minutes I was ready to make a bracelet. At the end of my project, it was wonderful to just slip off the wire end and attach a clasp. There were only 2 threads to weave in. I am VERY pleased!

Awesome LoomJuly 17, 2014
I loomed as a kid on a plastic child\'s loom and wanted to try again since I\'ve tried everything else beaded. I ordered Ricks Loom and it only took 15 minutes to see up and ready to bead.
I love how easy it was to warp and I can use any square stitch pattern I already have. Finishing off your piece is a \"piece of cake\" and no harder than stringing a bracelet!

patienceJuly 4, 2014
As a weaver on a large floorloom, I find this rather fiddely, but that is to be expected I wiil get there and look foreward to playing with
loom. The only thing needed in my case is patience, Hannes

Ricks bead loomMarch 6, 2014
I have never used a loom before. Had a hard time getting the warp tight the first time but that will not happen again. What took me so long to use a loom? I love it..

VERY disapointedMarch 2, 2014
Design flow.... unable to maintain the tension in the middle warps...if there are more than 10 warps.... Quiet frankly, it is much easier to achieve a nice wide bracelet on a "basic cheap" beading than on this loom.... Is there a trick or a "quick fix" regarding this issue?

My new LoomFebruary 18, 2014
The first time I tried to use this loom I was very frustrated because I couldn't get the beads in place long enough to thread them. I have since discovered that one needs to have the threads pretty taut. Then it's a piece of cake. This is a great loom and I would recommend it to anyone.

HALF PLEASEDFebruary 11, 2014
Loom is real easy to set up but I bought it so that I would be able to make bracelets using TILA BEADS. The little tiles ice flow jam up on one another and finished piece looks real bad!! I have watched Paul Ricks demo his loom on a tv show and has bracelets displayed where he has used TILA BEADS. Maybe there is a way of making it work on this or any loom but I haven't figured it out. Works great for all sizes of seed beads but not 5mm x 5mm TILA BEADS!!!! Guess I will resort to hand stitching the squares together for a bracelet!! Really LIKE not having to deal with all those warp threads also.

Ricks loom for ever !January 5, 2014
It is the best loom i ever try. It is really easy to use and yes, it is possible to achieve a tight tension ! I learned how to use it on Youtube. I feel more secure for my finition with this type of loom than with the ones that leave multiple threads (especially when i use Silver-Plated Brass End Tube like on the picture). I really recommend this loom !

I really wanted to LOVE this.....November 19, 2013
I have made a few items on this loom. Some have turned out well, and others not. I like making wide bracelets and it is difficult to get a tight tension on all warp threads. By the time you tighten up the threads on the thin metal rods start to bend. I have replaced those rods with metal from a pair of knitting needles and rubber needle caps. Narrow bracelets should not be a problem for this loom.

Ricks Beading LoomNovember 6, 2013
Thank you Paul Ricks for developing this loom!
It truly is easy to warp - but not from the written instructions. For us visual learners I suggest searching out the Youtube videos on this loom as they are very helpful. And the box the item is packaged in falls apart immediately upon opening it - a transport system to protect this item then becomes necessary. That being said, I really can create loomed bracelets at warp speed ;) - so much easier that dealing with the jewel loom or spring type looms and waaay less $$$ than a mirrix.

Don't waste your time or moneyOctober 18, 2013
I would much rather weave multiple warp threads into my design than deal with the frustration of trying to get this loom set up. It is a total pain, I was ready to throw the loom at one point. The quality is meager at best and it is impossible to achieve a tight tension. I have returned mine for a refund.

More fun than I thought!September 7, 2013
I have tried a beading loom before and found it tedious. Not Ricks! It is so simple to do. There are literally 3 threads to deal with when you are finished. Just tie them off and weave them in. Or use them to attach your closure. Set up couldn't be more simple. It is done in minutes. I would recommend Ricks Beading Loom to anyone.
