To The Slopes Necklace

When you are longing for the slopes, this whimsical pendant is just the thing to take you there. We gave our girl a peek-a-boo look by offsetting the image a bit. The resin size varies slightly, so we found this technique to be very forgiving! We stamped these whimsical images onto our resin pendants using stamps from our Be Bold rubber stamp set. We used solvent ink made for rubber stamping that we purchased from our local craft store. With several colors of resin pendants and stamp sets to choose from the possibilities are endless. Our stamp sets include six to twelve individual stamps so once you invest in a stamp set you can make unlimited numbers of necklaces for a fraction of the price. Step one: Stamp an image onto the denim wedge resin pendent and allow to dry. Step two: Cut an eighteen inch piece of 2mm mango rubber cord and thread on the pendent. Attach the 2mm sterling silver crimp ends to the ends of the rubber cord. We used a tiny dab of Amazing Goop craft glue for added security. Crimp with a pair of nylon jaw pliers. Repeat for the other end of the rubber cord. Allow to dry. Step three: Attach the 4.05 mm jump ring to the loop on one of the crimp ends and attach the sterling silver 9x3mm lobster claw clasp. Attach the 5.35mm sterling silver jump ring to the other side of the necklace.
