Timeless Bride Dress Instructions Designed by Cheri Carlson
This stunning "Timeless Bride" design proves you don't need to blow your bridal budget on a pricey designer dress to command the spotlight on your big day. Brilliant crystals SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS glamorize the overall look of the dress while an antique brass pendant adds a fashionable vintage touch.
To create this design we found a white gown at a second hand store.
Step one: First, create the brooch. Use E6000 adhesive to glue together two antique brass artist pendants so that one pendant slightly overlaps the other; the spokes of the two pendants should line up so that it looks like one piece. Set aside to dry.
Step two: Use 5-minute Epoxy to glue a 39mm Swarovski fancy oval in Crystal onto the center of the pendant. Set aside to dry.
Step three To get good contact, apply a dab of Gem-Tac adhesive to each of the recesses around the perimeter of the pendant. Set aside to dry. Apply a second dab of Gem-Tac adhesive to each recess and, using a jewel setter, place one Swarovski SS16 flatback in Crystal into each recess Set aside to dry.
Step four Next, embellish the straps of the dress. Use a BeJeweler® Stone Styler™ to affix a row of Swarovski SS20 flatbacks in Crystal along each strap. For help using the BeJeweler® Stone Styler™ refer to the handy tips section of the Learning Center.
Step five Finish by sewing the brooch to the dress.
