This adorable beach-themed pendant features a Lillypilly etched shell pendant and has a lot of adorable shell beads hanging around to be a part of the scene!
Step one: Cut a length of each of the ribbons to approximately 19 inches. Cut the ribbons at an angle and lightly burn the ends to make stringing easier.
Step two: Create your dangles by stringing the shell beads on head pins and finishing with Wrapped Loops. Make the loops small so that they will stay in place on the ribbon. String one of the shell beads on an eye pin, and connect three of the other dangles to the bottom of that pin. Slide this piece onto the center of the brown ribbon.
Step three: String the blue and green ribbon through the pendant by folding in half, and pulling the center through the back of the pendant. Slide the ends through the loop and pull tight in a slip knot. Check out our Handy Tip for a cool technique when stringing Organza Ribbon.
Step four: String two dangles on each side of the blue and green ribbons, and three on each side of the brown. Then gather all three and string them through one dangle on each side to hold them together. Continue by stringing three more dangles on each side of the blue ribbon and two more on each side of the green and brown ribbons.
Step five: Gather the ribbon ends and bunch them together. Put a dot of E6000 adhesive inside of one of the endcaps and push the ribbon ends into the cap. Using your nylon jaw pliers, gently but firmly close the end cap. Repeat on the other side.
