The Win Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
This eye-catching bracelet design is sure to live up to its name and win the admiration of onlookers. Braided black leather provides a dramatic backdrop for brilliant SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystals and lustrous sterling silver chain. With its intertwined appearance, this bracelet appears more complex than it actually is to construct. This design was inspired by SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS "Good Fortune" macramé bracelet which is included in our list of SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS instructional guides.
Step one: Cut a piece of 4mm spooled braided leather in black to your desired length. Ours was 7-inches. Cut a piece of silver-plated large circle link chain that is approximately two inches longer than the braided leather. You will want the last link on each end of the chain to be the smaller, rectangular link. Next, thread the braided leather through the circular links on the chain.
Step two: Place a dab of E6000 glue onto one end of the leather before attaching an antique silver-plated pewter small fancy crimp end. For help using crimp ends refer to the handy tips section of the Learning Center. Repeat for the other end of the leather. Allow time to dry.
Step three: Meanwhile, construct the dangles. Attach one 0.90 x 7.35mm sterling silver open jump ring each to the following components: one 19mm Swarovski divine rock pendant in Crystal Silver Shade, one 17mm Swarovski briolette pendant in Crystal, two 14mm Swarovski cosmic pendants in Crystal AB, one 18mm Swarovski twist pendant in Jet, one 10mm Swarovski mini pear pendant in Crystal AB, one 20mm Swarovski ginko pendant in Crystal Silver Shade and one 25mm Swarovski 2 sprig coral pendant in Crystal Moonlight. Next, attach one 0.90 x 4.60mm sterling silver open jump ring each to the following components: one 8mm Swarovski mini pear pendant in Jet and three 9mm Swarovski briolette pendants in Jet. Set the dangles aside.
Step four: Once the glue has dried, thread a 0.90 x 7.35mm jump ring through the ring on one of the crimp ends as well as through the last link of the chain and the loop-end of a sterling silver toggle with 3mm CZ. Repeat for the other end of the chain using the bar-end of the toggle.
Step five: Lay the bracelet flat, and arrange the dangles until you are pleased with the layout. Connect the dangles to the rectangular links on the chain using their attached jump rings.
