Wildflowers are an exquisite part of nature. Seemingly delicate, these beauties are vulnerable to the elements, yet they are strong enough not only to withstand, but to thrive. This necklace captures that balance between the delicate and durable nature of a wildflower by using pastel colors and complementing them with strong elements for a truly powerful combination.
Step One: Cut a 17-inch piece of ZambaPro 49 .019 jewelry wire. Crimp one end of the wire to a 4.60mm sterling silver open jump ring using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube. For help with crimp tubes visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step Two: On the wire, string a 5x4mm orange picasso roundelle, sixteen 7x5mm transparent amethyst rondelles, an orange picasso roundelle, a stamped flower disc bead, an orange picasso roundelle, an amethyst rondelle, an orange picasso roundelle, a black and gold/red striped disc bead, a flower-stamped disc, a black striped disc, an orange picasso roundelle, an amethyst rondelle, an orange picasso roundelle and a black striped disc. String on a delicate flower stamped disc, then mirror the previous pattern to complete the other half of the necklace. Crimp the wire to a 4.60 jump ring using a crimp tube.
Step Three: Create a link of two 6.10mm sterling silver open jump rings. Attach to the jump rings already at each end of the wire. Attach the antique silver-plated pewter leaves toggle at both ends. For help with jump rings visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
