Create a juicy splash of style with this sweet bracelet! Neon colors unite, making a fun statement that will pop with any ensemble. It's easy to get started, as the Designer Seed Bead Blend allows you to create a random pattern that's perfectly coordinated. Learn how to make this bracelet and stand out with its bright beauty!
Step one: Use the Rock Candy Designer Seed Bead Blend to create a peyote stitch bracelet. Start the stitch so that your first rows are about eight inches long. In other words, you will be creating the bracelet lengthwise and then building up the width of the bracelet with more rows of peyote stitch. Our bracelet is about one inch wide. For help with peyote stitch, see our Handy Tip and Video.
Step two: When your bracelet is as wide as you would like, zip the ends of the strip together. On opposite sides of the bracelet, you are going to want to roll the edges so that they meet and stitch the edges together. See our Peyote Ring Handy Tip for help with this technique. This Handy Tip details how to stitch the ends of peyote strips together. On each side, we stitched sections together that were approximately 1 1/4-inch in length, or 13 rows of beads long.
Step three: Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 12 inches long. Thread 11 Swarovski 8mm round pearls in Neon Green onto the jewelry wire. Slip the ends of the wire through the peyote tubes created on the bracelet. Thread the remaining 11 pearls onto the wire, followed by a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube. Bring the other end of the jewelry wire through the crimp tube and make sure the crimp tube is positioned near an end of one of the peyote tubes so that it is hidden from view. Crimp the crimp tube shut. See our Crimp Tool Handy Tip for more help with crimping.
