Swarovski Red Sea Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
This multi-strand necklace is absolutely stunning. There is a lot going on here so make sure there is plenty of time and patience to create this stunning Swarovski sea life necklace!
Step one: Lay out just over 18 inches of stringing material and crimp one end to the first loop on your clasp. String your 11/0 red Toho beads all the way across while adding 9 jet bicones in a random pattern. Crimp this to the other end of the clasp. Go back and attach three silver shell charms in the middle using the smaller open jump rings.
Step two: Lay out 22 inches of stringing material and crimp one end to the middle loop of the clasp. String 7 1/2 inches of red hex Toho beads followed by a 5mm coral bicone, cherry bugle, 5mm coral bicone, cherry bugle, 5mm coral bicone, cherry bugle, siam helix, three hex Tohos and a black helix. Reverse that pattern, making it symmetrical. Continue to string 7 1/2 inches of hex Tohos and crimp your wire to the middle loop of the other clasp part. In between the two black helix beads, attach a crystal AB coral pendant using a jump ring.
Step three: Lay out 26 inches of stringing material and crimp the end to the last loop on the clasp. String 8 1/2 inches of 11/0 red tohos followed by a siam helix crystal, one hex bead, one bugle bead, one siam simplicity crystal, one hex bead, another simplicity crystal, a 6mm coral bicone, two hex beads, a 6mm coral bicone, one siam helix crystal, one hex bead, a 4mm coral bicone, three 11/0 Toho beads, a 6mm coral bicone and a helix crystal. String five 11/0 beads and the starfish pendant then string another five 11/0 beads and bring the stringing material back through the helix crystal to create a beaded loop. Reverse that pattern to make the strand symmetrical. Crimp the wire to the last loop on the clasp.
Step Four: Using open jump rings attach the remaining coral sprig pendants. The crystal two-sprig pendants will go on either side of the starfish in between the two siam simplicity crystals. The jet three-sprig pendants will go on either side of the starfish in between the two 6mm coral bicones.
