This necklace, made with Swarovski pearls and crystal cubes, is classic in style. The bold look of the combined colors along with the larger pearls give it a trendy edge. This necklace is perfect for weddings. Whether you are the bride, bridesmaid or mother of the bride, you will be stunning in this elegant necklace.
Step one: Cut a length of ZambaPro™ 49 .019 jewelry wire to approximately 18 inches. Attach one end of the wire to the loop end of a toggle clasp using a 2x2mm crimp tube. For detailed instructions on how to use a crimp tube, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Cover the crimp tube with a sterling silver crimp cover.
Step two: Begin by stringing an 8mm Swarovski pearl in creamrose, followed by a 5mm daisy spacer, 8mm Swarovski pearl Tahitian-look, and another daisy spacer. Continue this pattern until you have five of each color of pearl.
Step three: For the center portion of the necklace, you will add a daisy spacer after the last 8mm Tahitian-look pearl, then a 10mm creamrose pearl, daisy spacer, 6mm Swarovski cube crystal AB, spacer, 12mm creamrose pearl, spacer, 10mm Tahitian-look pearl, spacer, 6mm Swarovski cube crystal AB and another 10mm Tahitian-look pearl. Starting with the 12mm creamrose pearl, repeat the pattern two more times and end with a 12mm creamrose pearl. You should have four 12mm creamrose pearls, and three segments with the 10mm Tahitian-look pearls and cube crystals.
Step four: After the last 12mm pearl, add a daisy spacer, 6mm Swarovski cube crystal AB, spacer and a 10mm creamrose pearl. You will then begin alternating daisy spacers, 8mm Tahitian-look pearls and 8mm creamrose pearls to the end of your pattern. Again, there should be five of each on this side when you are done. This necklace is meant to be symmetrical, with a Swarovski cube in the center. Before finishing, make sure your pattern is correct.
Step five: Finish the necklace by attaching the remaining end of the wire to the other end of the toggle clasp with a crimp tube and cover.
