This necklace combines the glimmer of Swarovski with summer's hottest trends of length and sterling silver chain.
Step one: Cut a length of chain to 23 inches. Use the medium sized jump ring (SS-OJR35-C) to attach the chain to the clasp. Attach the larger jump ring (SS-OJR35-F) to the other end of the chain to serve as the other side of your clasp.
Step two: Cut another length of chain to approximately ½?é?ª inch. Attach it to the center of the chain using the smallest jump ring (SS-OJR25-A).
Step three: With 22 gauge sterling silver wire, make a wire bail for the Swarovski pendant. If you are uncertain of how to make a wire bail go to the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center and click on How to make a bail for a flat pendant. Attach the bail to the bottom link of the dangling length of chain.
Step four: String two 22 gauge head pins with an 8mm Swarovski aqua faceted bicone followed by a 6mm silver and crystal roundelle and another bicone. Attach the head pins to the chain six links out on either side of the center pendant using a simple loop. Step five: Prepare four more head pins with one 8mm aqua bicone on each. Using the simple loop method, attach two to each side of the chain, working out from the existing dangles at six link intervals. Feel free to experiment with the color of your crystals to make this necklace suit your style.
