Artful Geometry Necklace

This necklace has a sharp, clean elegance. The designer combined Swarovski cubes with freshwater pearls to pull the eye into the pattern and color of this wonderful necklace. For instructions on how to make the matching earrings CLICK HERE. Step one: Cut a 15 � inch length of 070 long rollo chain. Attach it to the sterling silver 13mm heart toggle clasp using open jump rings. Step two: Create the dangles for your necklace by beginning with three, 1-inch head pins. Place a 4mm Swarovski cube in crystal AB on each head pin and make a simple loop. For detailed instructions on how to make a simple loop, please visit the Handy Tips section of our Learning Center. Using the eye pins to create your subsequent links, string one blue pearl, make a simple loop and attach it to the cube link. Continue with another eye pin link with a cube and one with a blue pearl for each dangle. You should now have three 4-link dangles. Step three: Do the same steps for the other two dangles, but begin with a pearl and reverse the pattern. When you are finished you will have five dangles with two different patterns. When you line them up they should create a checkerboard effect. Step four: find the center link of the chain. Open the top loop on one of the dangles with a pearl on the top, attach it to the chain with the loop. Working out from the center, skip four links of chain and attach the next dangle.
