Alexandrite is a very special color from CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements. Under fluorescent light and sunlight, it appears light blue. Under incandescent lights it turns to a lovely violet color. Because of it's unique properties, it's almost impossible to photograph! Please note: this crystal is not actually half blue and half violet; in our picture, each side of the crystal represents the color shown under a different type of light.
