Spring and summer 2007 color trends come as a surprise with deep, muted tones normally reserved for the cooler months. Romantic styles are still going strong, but the sharp lines and tailoring of the 80's are being echoed in some of the more structured designs for office wear.
Spring Structure
Soft tones and clean lines are the call for the office this spring. Dusty blues and browns are the dominant colors and neat jackets and slim pants and skirts the staples of the wardrobe. For those with flair, don’t fear. These conservative styles are accented with big, bold beads in fun materials like wood, resin and porcelain. Tie them all up with a silk cord or gold chain for a fun and colorful edge.
Summer Sensual
Romance is back with rich, muted tones and flowing, flowery fabrics. The staunch Victorian look of winter softens to a more subtle version of the same historical feel for spring. Think of charcoal and roses, burgundy and even matte black are really hot this season. Filigree is everywhere, and layered, long chain with Swarovski crystal makes the perfect accent.
