Sugar and Spice Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Created during a Mommy & Me jewelry design party, this bracelet is full of spunk and character thanks to its bright colors and the utilization of the word sassy. This simple and fun design, perfect for any young girl, is easy to create at any age. Depending on the age of the child, you may need to help them with the jump rings and crimp tubes.
These transfer sheets were so much fun that we couldn't create just one design. Step One: Cut out your favorite word from the decorative words transfer sheet and follow the instructions on the package to transfer the word onto the antique silver-plated pewter medium thin rectangle tag link. Brush a thin coat of sealant across the tag to keep the word in place. Let dry.
Step Two: Use the StazOn ink pad in jet black and any small stamp you like to add detail to the tag. We chose to use a small flower stamp that we purchased at our local craft store. Make sure to press down evenly and not move the stamp. Let dry.
Step Three: Cut a 3 1/2-inch piece of ZambaPro 49 .019 jewelry wire. Crimp one end of the wire to a sterling silver open jump ring using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube. For help with crimp tubes visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. On the wire string five 4mm fire-polished beads in metallic pink, three 5mm antique rhodium heishi spacers, a metallic pink bead, three Czech glass buttons in emerald/white core and a metallic pink bead. Crimp the wire to one end of the tag using a crimp tube. Repeat this step to create the other half of the bracelet.
Step Four: Attach the sterling silver rose crystal toggle set to the jump rings at each end of the bracelet. For help with jump rings visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
