Stroke of Midnight Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cheri Carlson
Don't let your princess turn into a scullery maid when midnight hits. Make her this wonderful charm bracelet timepiece for prom, her sweet 16 or any other occasion and she will never have an excuse for being late again!
Step one: Cut a piece of sterling silver round link chain to fit snug around your wrist. Cut a piece of magenta large fancy satin silk string approximately four inches longer than the chain. Weave the silk through the chain and manipulate it so that the seam of the silk is centered on one side. This will be the back. You want to have silk extending on both ends of the chain. On one end of the silk, cut out one inch of the stuffing. Fold about ¼ inch of the raw edge of the silk into itself and stitch the silk tube closed with a needle and thread. Fold the edge into a point and stitch it together. Fold the point over the first two links (leaving an open link for the clasp) of the chain and stitch it down. Repeat for the other end of the bracelet. Use a sterling silver open jump ring to attach the sterling silver toggle clasp to the bracelet.
Step two: Attach the 8mm sterling silver split ring to the silver tone diamond watch face and attach it to the bracelet.
Step three: On a sterling silver 2-inch head pin stack a Swarovski faceted 8mm fuchsia round and a Swarovski 14mm faceted crystal AB round. Attach it to the bracelet using a wrapped loop. For help making wrapped loops please visit the Handy Tips section in the Learning Center. Repeat one more time.
Step four: On three 2-inch head pins mix the 12mm rose on blue round beads, Swarovski 7mm faceted fuchsia round, Swarovski 4mm faceted round fuchsia ab round, Swarovski 6mm faceted rose water opal rounds and the Swarovski 4mm faceted rose water opal rounds to make three dangles. Attach them to the bracelet using a wrapped loop.
Step five: On a sterling silver 1½ inch head pin add a 10mm silver lined rose bead and finish with a simple loop. For help making simple loops please visit the Handy Tips section in the Learning Center. Repeat six times. On a 1½ inch head pin add a Swarovski 6mm faceted dark indigo round and finish with a simple loop. Repeat six times. Attach these dangles to the bracelet.
Step six: Attach the sterling silver high heel charm with Swarovski crystals to the bracelet
