This adorable centerpiece will bring fireworks to any event! Change the colors and you have a fun table decoration for weddings, graduations or any celebration.
Tip: Use nylon jaw pliers to smooth the wires and remove any kinks if necessary. We used a small piece of Styrofoam inside the bucket to hold the wires. And purchased three small American flags at our local craft store to add to our arrangement.
Step one: Cut six 10-inch pieces of tangerine artistic wire. Thread a tangerine wire through the loop on a resin ruby star pendant and wrap the wire to secure the star. Repeat for the other five stars. Wrap the wire around the top edge of the bucket or a drinking glass to make a nice arch for the star end of the wire.
Step two: Repeat step one, this time use the blue artistic wire and the six sapphire star pendants.
Step three: Cut a 10-inch piece of brass artistic wire. Use round nose pliers to form a double loop about 1½-inches from one end of the wire. This will be the seat for the beads. Thread a sterling silver 6mm round stardust bead and a SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS 3mm round crystal beads onto the wire and then use chain nose pliers to fold the tip of the wire over to form a stopper for the beads. Repeat seven more times.
Step four: Cut a 10-inch piece of brass wire. Use chain nose pliers to fold over the tip of the wire to form a stopper for the beads. Thread a sapphire Czech fire polished bead and approximately 6-inches of silver lined crystal Tohos. Use round nose pliers to form a loop at the base of the last bead as a stopper. Leave some exposed wire below the loop so that you can stick the wire into the base. Repeat two more times.
Step five: Repeat step four, this time use the ruby glass druk beads.
Step six: We cut a small piece of Styrofoam to fit inside our bucket. Arrange your beaded wires, stars and flags in the bucket. Trim the lengths of the wires as necessary to get a nice display. We used some finged ribbon left over from another project to cover the Styrofoam. You could use red, blue, gold or silver easter grass or some leftover beads also.
