WonderfulNovember 19, 2011
I love these locking jump rings. It secures charms much better than anyother jump ring. The biggest problem is they are often out of stock and I have to wait to order.

Sturdy Jump RingsSeptember 24, 2011
These are strong jump rings that do snap when they close. They are not easily pulled apart as other open rings.

Good, But No LockAugust 14, 2011
I ordered these jump rings because I desired some extra security for my pieces without using solder. In that, I was very disappointed, since many of the rings did not lock as claimed by the manufacturer. Otherwise, they were easy to work with and look nice in my designs. Next time, I'll be getting plain old non-locking jump rings.

I will not consider purchasing a round jumpring
unless it is the type that will lock. I really appreciate the extra security that it provides.

Outstanding! These locking jump rings are very sturdy and maintain a nice round shape. Easily to work with and re-usable. I wish they were available in 5 mm too!

No luck with the lockJanuary 11, 2011
I loved the idea of a locking jump ring, but I couldn't get the 6mm to lock. The 4mm worked fine. However, the 18 gauge is nice and strong and feels like it will hold. Unfortunately I could have paid for 18 gauge 6mm jump rings for less.

Strong and reliable jump ringNovember 11, 2010
I love these jumprings. They stay together well through normal wear and tear. They look very nice and the larger guage makes them strong and my clear go-to choice for many projects!!

6mm Locking Jump RingsAugust 28, 2010
I LOVE THESE JUMP RINGS!!! Once you close them~ they DO NOT fall off! This item is a must for all jewelry designers. Ever have a clasp, pendant or earring that fell of due to a jump riong opening up? You will NEVER have to worry about that again! These would be amazing in chain mail- I wish I knew how to do it. They are versatile. You can use them anywhere you would use a jump ring~ once you hear that "click" you know your creation is secure.

6mm Locking jum ringAugust 16, 2010
I found out about locking jump rings on my recent visit to Florida. I am always worried about my jump rings opening and possibly losing a charm or the whole bracelet. I love these rings and never worry about losing a charm or bracelet.

"lock" should be in quotesFebruary 18, 2010
These do not actually lock. They have a jagged cut in them that will hold the jump ring together much better than a regular straight jump ring cut. They are beautifully cut compared to some rings, and it's more difficult for me to see the open slit in these jump rings (or else I'm just getting old). The metal is a nice heavy gauge, which also helps keep them "locked" if you take the time to make sure you have a good, clean close. If I want a piece to look really clean, I use these jump rings.

Great After PracticeFebruary 18, 2010
Like with many things in life, practice makes perfect with these. My first few tries were failures but all of a sudden one worked, then the next and now it's 100%. My jeweler friend was impressed at how strong they are, the bracelet would break before these fell open.

Not Sure if I'm doing this right?January 4, 2010
I have bought several sizes of these jumprings, and I cannot seem to get them to "lock" as the description of them implies. I made a bracelet for an 8 yr old girl, and she brought it back to me 3 days later with an open jumpring, that I easily realigned with my teeth!!!! So what is the secret to these jumprings "locking" so that they do not open from the everyday wear and tear of a bracelet? Should I invest in splitrings instead? There's no way THEY can come off, I think. :{

These *DO* Work Well!August 18, 2009
I disagree with the previous posters. I was hesitant to try these based on the reviews, but wanted something stronger than regular unsoldered jumprings. If the directions are followed (and I went online and followed some detailed video instructions), they work great! I'm so impressed, and definitely worth the extra money for a much more secure fastening. I'll definitely be ordering more. :)

I agree with KathiMay 28, 2009
I didn't hear/feel a click as described. Very sturdy, but why spend more for something the same as a regular open jump ring.

These jump ring do not really lock. There is not a click into place that you hear. They just may have a straighter cut opening. No sense in paying a little extra then a regular open jump ring.
