Sterling Silver 1.5-inch Ball-end Head Pin, 24 gauge
These sterling silver 24 gauge ball head pins are only 1 1/2 inches long. Stop wasting silver by snipping an inch off of your longer head pins, when this may be all you need.

Love these!August 20, 2014
These are a great length for adding dangles to bracelets. I love the ball-end head pin because it adds a small touch of class to a simple dangle. I will continue to buy these.

LOVE THESE !!July 12, 2014
These head pins are my favorite! I use them all of the time. The 24 gauge is perfect for wrapping and the ball at the end is just right for my designs. The length is also ideal .I am always running out of these

1.5-inch ball-end Head PinDecember 29, 2013
24 gauge is the way to go for making earrings and the ball-end just makes them a little bit fancier.

Decent for the priceJune 23, 2012
I bought these to wrap some crystals for pendants. The 1 1/2 inch size was perfect, and I haven't had any problems with the ball-tip being off center (although a couple of them did arrive more than slightly bent.)

They are a bit thin for my purposes, but being that they were experimental, I didn't buy many.

If you are looking for a thin ball-tip headpin, this one should do the trick!

make all the differenceMarch 15, 2012
just love them!
use these on dangle earrings and charms when the design needs "just a bit more at the bottom" and they provide such a finished look to the piece. particularly nice with single bead earring charm/dangle types. i also tried using a silver seed bead to lower the cost, but were a very poor substitute.
have had no problems with these but appreciate the quality check tips from the other reviews. i do think that the ball size is PERFECT & the whole point of this headpin design.
also very happy to see a wider selection of these silver ball-end headpins. thanks for the email artbeads.
i would love to see these in gold plated, such as the Satin Hamilton Gold-Plated line so they're cost effective for a hobbyist like me. i love a "touch of gold" with Swarovski platinum pearls

Be carefulAugust 23, 2011
Be careful when using this headpin. I used it with a large hole pearl to make a charm and it worked fine. After a few days, the ball on the end of the pin started to cut through the hole of the pearl making my beads slide downward. We need a head bin with a larger ball on the end.

Head pin with ballMarch 30, 2011
I like this head pin but occasionally the ball is off center which is why it did not get a 5 star in quality and appearance. In the future when I order the item I will inspect each one to make sure there are no balls off center. Otherwise the item is great.

Wonderful QualityJanuary 19, 2011
Unlike cheaper head pins, these didn't break nor did the ball-ends pop off when I was working with them. They really dress up a bead!

Great headpins!January 8, 2011
These headpins have nice large ends that stop them from entering most gemstone or bead holes. I use them a lot! Much more economical than making my own!! My only complaint is that the wire is a bit stiff. This is an advantage for some applications.

pretty accent ball on a earringDecember 4, 2010
When a dainty ending is needed at the tip of a bead, this is a great headpin. It does it's job without being overly noticeable. The silver draws your eye to the gem while it holds your beads in place.

head pinNovember 1, 2010
This was very easy to use, and readily bendable as needed. I do have to think about the length though, cause I realized after getting them, they were a bit longer than what I usually get. My fault, though, for just not knowing.
