Step one: Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 19 inches long. Create a small loop on one end of the wire using a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube and a sterling silver 3mm crimp cover. Learn how to use a crimp tube with this Handy Tip. For help adding a crimp cover, see our Crimp Cover Handy Tip. String the following bead pattern onto the wire.
Three Dakota Stones cherry quartz 8mm faceted roundel beads
One 5mm seamless sterling silver round bead
One Swarovski 8mm XILION bicone in Jonquil
One seamless sterling silver bead
Repeat this pattern 12 times and then string on three cherry quartz roundels. Create a small loop on the end of the jewelry wire using a crimp cover and crimp tube. Attach one end of the strand to half of the 24.5x10mm silver-plated 4 ring magnetic tube clasp using a sterling silver 6.10mm open jump ring. . For help opening and closing jump rings, please see our Jump Ring Handy Tip Video. Make sure to attach the strand to the loop closest to the head of the clasp. Attach the other end of the strand to the other half of the clasp using a jump ring, this time making sure to attach it to the ring farthest away from the clasp.
Step two: Attach a Swarovski rhodium-plated foldover clasp to the end of a 19-inch length of Swarovski rhodium-plated cup chain with PP32 XIRIUS crystals. To do this, simply insert the raised prong of the foldover clasp into the bottom of the setting of the last crystal on the chain. You can then use pliers to fold the prongs on the end of the clasp around the link in the cup chain. Repeat this for the other end of the cup chain. Use a jump ring to attach one end of the chain to the next open ring on the clasp and repeat for the other side of the necklace.
Step three: Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 22 inches long. Attach one end of the wire to a jump ring using a crimp tube and a crimp cover. String the following pattern onto the wire:
One Swarovski 6mm faceted round in Padparadscha
One TierraCast rhodium-plated pewter small cube spacer EuroBead
One Swarovski 12mm coin pearl in Crystal Iridescent Green
One cube spacer
Repeat this pattern 18 times and then string on another Padparadscha faceted round. Attach the end of the jewelry wire to a jump ring using a crimp tube and crimp cover. Attach one end of the strand to the open loop below the cup chain strand and repeat for the other side of the necklace.
