Spring Scene Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
A beautiful medley of beads and charms create a lush Spring Scene in this memory wire bracelet. Czech glass beads in different styles create unforgettable texture and dimension, but still look cohesive thanks to the turquoise tones. Cute tassels dangling from the ends of the bracelet add even more color. You can see more inspiration for using memory wire in your jewelry designs in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Step one: Cut a length of The Beadsmith 2.25-inch black oxide steel memory wire round bracelet approximately 4 coils long. Create a loop on one end using the Beadalon memory wire finishing pliers. For help with this technique, please see this tutorial video.
Step two: Add a random pattern of Czech glass 8mm opaque turquoise with Picasso nugget cut beads, Preciosa Czech glass 5x7mm opaque turquoise travertine Pip Beads, Czech glass 3mm turquoise bronze Picasso Melon Beads, fire-polished 4mm opaque turquoise Picasso beads, Czech glass 8/0 Matubo Beads in aquamarine travertine dark, and TierraCast antique silver small coiled ring spacers. Make a loop at the end of the wire.
Step three: Attach the sterling silver very tiny flower charm, sterling silver small flower charm, and the sterling silver swallow charm to the bracelet in random spots using a 925/10 silver-filled 4mm 20 gauge open jump ring for each. For help opening and closing jump rings, please see this video tutorial.
Step four: Attach the small beige tassel with silver cap to the loop on one end of the bracelet using a jump ring. Attach the small purple tassel with silver cap to the loop on the other end of the bracelet using a jump ring.
