Simply Nouveau Shoes Instructions Designed by Cheri Carlson
Transform your bridal footwear from plain to polished with this elegant "Simply Nouveau" design. This design blends antique brass with brilliant crystals from SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS for a vintage look that is high fashion without burdening the budget for your big day.
To create this design, we purchased a pair of white flats from a discount shoe store but feel free to embellish any shoes you like.
Step one: First, embellish the link with Swarovski flatbacks in Crystal using Gem-Tac adhesive. We used three different sizes of flatbacks; for their exact placement refer to the pictures above.
Step two: Next, make a light mark with pencil on the center-point of the shoe where you wish the link to sit. Carefully dab E6000 adhesive onto the back of the link, along the perimeter, and press the link onto the shoe. We used a hinge type paper clip to hold the piece securely until dry.
Step three: Use E6000 adhesive to glue a 14mm Swarovski chessboard circle flatback in Crystal to an antique brass Victorian splendor link so that it hangs over the upper-edge slightly.
Step four: Repeat steps one through three for second shoe.
