This necklace features freshwater pearls and a detailed, sterling silver heart chandelier pendant! It is an eye-catching piece that would be perfect for bridesmaids! With the wide variety of pearls we offer, you are sure to find one to match your colors!
Step one: Begin by embellishing the sterling silver heart pendant. You will make a total of five dangles to hang off of the pendant. The center dangle will be made on a 2-inch 24 gauge head pin. String a 5-5.5mm white potato pearl, followed by a Hill Tribe silver small roundel, 4.5-5mm peacock rice pearl, another roundel, and another white pearl. Finish by attaching to the center loop of the pendant using a wrapped loop. For detailed instructions on how to make a wrapped loop please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step two: The next two dangles out from the center will be made on 1 ½-inch head pins beginning with a small roundelle, then a peacock pearl, and another roundelle. Attach to the loops of the pendant using wrapped loops. The outermost dangles are done in the exact same way, just substitute white pearls for the peacock. When your pendant is completed, attach a sterling silver open jump ring to the top and set it aside.
Step three: Cut a length of ZambaPro™ 49 .019 jewelry wire to approximately 22 inches. Attach one end to a Bali silver toggle clasp using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube. For instructions on how to use a crimp tube, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Cover with a crimp cover. The pattern for the necklace is as follows: small Hill Tribe silver roundelle, 5-5.5mm white potato pearl, roundelle, and five 4.5-5mm peacock pearls.
Step four: Repeat this pattern until you have six segments, add the pendant and reverse the pattern to the other end. When you have six segments on both sides, attach the remaining wire to the other end of the toggle clasp and remove excess wire.
