These simple and stylish necklaces are perfect for a day at the beach! Make them for you and your partner before you take your next trip to the shore!
Step one: Cut a length of Soft Flex .019 jewelry wire approximately 3 inches longer than you want the final length of the necklace to be. Attach one end of the wire to a sterling silver jump ring using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube. The S clasp for the men’s necklace comes with jump rings. For the woman’s necklace you will have to add sterling jump rings to the clasp. For detailed instructions on how to use a crimp tube, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step two: String 6 ˝ inches of heishi shell beads for the 16-inch necklace and 7 ˝ for the 18 inch. Add the focal wood bead, and finish by stringing heishi beads until you have an equal amount on both sides of the design.
Step three: Crimp the other end of your wire to the other side of the clasp, trim any excess wire and you are done!
