Our designer cleverly incorporated our exquisite Swarovski crystal yarn with bold Swarovski crystal and antiqued silver-plated pewter components. The result is stunning.
Step one: On a sterling silver head pin, string a 6mm Swarovski topaz bicone crystal followed by a 12mm Swarovski cosmic amethyst bead. Attach the headpin to an antique silver-plated pewter minuet link using a wrapped loop. For instructions on how to make a wrapped loop, please visit the Handy Tips section of our Learning Center.
Step two: Attach the minuet link to the center loop of a silver-plated empress link using an open jump ring. On the outside two loops of the empress link, attach antique silver plated bell flower charms with open jump rings.
Step three: String an 18mm Swarovski polygon amethyst bead on a sterling silver eye pin. Slide the dangle you just created into the loop of the eye pin. Make a simple loop in the top of the pin and attach another empress link by the single loop end.
Step four: Cut two lengths of 22 inches of Swarovski silver shade cotton yarn. Fold one of the lengths in half and find a space between two of the crystals. Feed that folded tip through one of the outside loops of the empress link. Pull the loop through until the crystals catch on the loop of the link. Slide the ends of the yarn through the loop and pull it tight.
Step five: Approximately two inches from the end of the yarn, hold the strands together and create a knot in the yarn. Loop one end of the yarn through one of the jump rings on the clasp and tie the ends of the yarn together in a square knot. At the ends of each strand, thread the yarn through a 6mm topaz Swarovski bicone and knot the end.
Step six: Repeat steps four and five on the other side of the necklace.
