This gemstone is becoming quite popular in the beading community because of its glorious grey and pink colorings. The pattern movement is quite artistic in this natural material. The Inca believed that rhodochrosite was the blood of their rulers, resulting in the name "Inca Rose." Much of the rhodochrosite that is used in jewelry today comes from Argentina.
