Rhinestone Dog Collar and Tag Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Jeweled collars and custom tags are so popular right now. But you don't have to run to the nearest doggie boutique when you can make your own. We purchased a dog collar at our local pet store and added some Swarovski hotfix rhinestones for color and sparkle. Then we personalized our sterling silver bone shaped tag using metal stamps.
Step one: Stamp the tag with a name and any symbols you like. For help on stamping, please see the Metal Stamping Tip in the Handy Tips section of our Learning Center. Attach one sterling silver jump ring to the tag and the loop on the collar.
Step two: Using the Bejeweler Pro, attach the hotfix rhinestones to the collar. For help using the Bejeweler Pro, please see our Handy Tips section in the Learning Center. Depending on the size of the collar you may need more rhinestones. The collar we used was a medium or 16 inch.
