This fun ornament has a retro element that brings you back to your Brady Bunch days! It is simple and fun to make! Make several in different colors and give them as gifts this year!
Tip: When working with Tacky Tape, it is best to rest your ornaments in a drinking glass as you work. If you set it down while you work, you are likely to pick up dust and pet hair that you may not want as part of your design!
Step one: One by one, add the 1/8-inch strip of Tacky Tape to the outside of your wood beads and, using a short length of Nymo D thread, string your bronze Toho beads along the outside. Run the thread through several times and knot it. Press the beads firmly onto the tape.
Step two: When you have prepared all four wood rings, Cut circles of Tacky Tape in just slightly smaller diameter than the outside of the rings. Place them at intervals around the center of your ornament and press the wood rings onto them. Fill the center of the rings with loose, frosted silver-lined lemon Toho beads. Press them firmly onto the tape.
Step three: Randomly affix Swarovski flatback rhinestones in jonquil SS30 to the ornament in the open spaces. It is easiest to apply a bit of E-6000 adhesive to a toothpick and then to the back of the rhinestone.
