Each of these stunning ornaments displays multi-faceted Swarovski crystal beads that will dance beautifully beneath the ambient lights of your Christmas tree. The aurora borealis finish on the beads adds a shimmery touch of iridescence with a retro feel. These ornaments are simple to create and will make wonderful Christmas gifts for your friends and family!
Step one: Cut three 6 1/2-inch sections of round 20 gauge half hard sterling silver wire. Bend the tip of the wire to form a stopper or head and squeeze with a pair of chain nose pliers.
Step two: Next, thread the beads onto the wires. For the first ornament, we used the following Swarovski beads in this order: a 5mm faceted Crystal bicone, an 8mm Crystal Transmission V margarita bead, an 8mm faceted Crystal AB roundelle, an 8mm margarita bead, a 15mm faceted elongated Crystal AB bicone, a 10mm margarita bead, a 16mm Crystal AB chessboard bead, a 10mm margarita bead, a 15mm elongated bicone, an 8mm margarita bead, an 8mm roundelle, an 8mm margarita bead, a 15mm elongated bicone and a 5mm bicone. For the second ornament, we used the following Swarovski beads in this order: a 5mm faceted crystal bicone, a 12mm faceted crystal ab roundelle, a 6mm faceted crystal ab round, a 17mm crystal artemis bead, a 7mm faceted crystal ab round, an 18mm faceted crystal ab roundelle, a 7mm crystal ab round, a 17mm artemis bead, a 6mm crystal ab round, a 12mm crystal ab roundelle, a 5mm crystal bicone, an 8mm faceted crystal ab roundelle, and a 5mm crystal bicone. Finish the ornament the same way you finished the first ornament in step two.
For the third ornament, we used the following Swarovski beads in this order: a 5mm faceted Crystal AB round, an 8mm faceted Crystal AB roundelle, a 12mm Crystal AB artemis bead, a 12mm Crystal AB margarita bead, a 12mm faceted Crystal AB roundelle, a 18mm twist Crystal bead, a 12mm Crystal AB roundelle, a 12mm margarita bead, a 12mm artemis bead, an 8mm Crystal AB roundelle, a 15mm faceted elongated Crystal AB bicone, and a 5mm Crystal AB round. Finish this ornament the same way you finished the first two.
