Regal Amethyst Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Inspired by one of this fall's trends, Modern Victoria, the Regal Amethyst necklace uses classic elements like a cameo cabochon and pearls, and styles them in brand new ways. Pair this elegant necklace with your favorite little black dress for a look that will never go out of style.
Step One: Use E6000 glue to adhere the 18x25mm resin cameo in black and ivory to the center of the antique brass filigree wreath. Let dry.
Step Two: Cut a 16-inch piece of ZambaPro™ 49 .019 jewelry wire. Crimp one end of the wire to a 6mm antique brass-plated open jump ring using a 2x2mm 14K/20 gold-filled crimp tube. Step Three: On the wire, string four bronze rice pearls, a 4mm Swarovski XILION bicone in cobalt, a pearl, a 13.5mm Swarovski galactic bead in purple opal mosaic, a pearl, a cobalt bicone, a 6mm fire-polished bead in blue violet pearl coat, a cobalt bicone, five pearls, a cobalt bicone, a blue violet bead, a cobalt bicone, 15 pearls, three blue violet beads, five pearls, three blue violet beads and seven pearls. Crimp the wire to a jump ring using a crimp tube. Cover with a crimp cover. Trim any excess wire.
Step Four: Cut a 16-inch piece of wire. Crimp one end of the wire to a jump ring using a crimp tube. Cover with a crimp cover. Trim any excess wire. On the wire, string four pearls, a cobalt bicone, a 23mm Swarovski wing bead in Provence lavender, a cobalt bicone, a pearl, a cobalt bicone, a blue violet bead, a cobalt bicone, a pearl, 10 blue violet beads, eight pearls, five blue violet beads, seven pearls, five blue violet beads and five pearls. Crimp the wire to a jump ring using a crimp tube. Cover with a crimp cover. Trim any excess wire.
Step Five: Using the jump rings at the ends of the wires, attach one end of each beaded strand to the filigree cameo piece and the other end to the 24mm antique brass decorative flower link, keeping the galactic and wing beads closest to the filigree.
