Step one: Cut a length of the sterling silver flat cable chain with 3mm beads approximately 7 inches long. Attach a 7.8mm oval trigger clasp to the end of the chain using a sterling silver 3.5x5.3mm 21 gauge oval jump ring. For help opening and closing jump rings, see our Jump Ring Handy Tip Video. Attach the other end of the chain to a sterling tiny teardrop chandelier using an oval jump ring.
Step two: Cut a length of flat cable chain with 3mm beads approximately 3 3/4 inches long. Attach one end to the top loop on the teardrop chandelier using an oval jump ring.
Step three: Cut a length of 050 cable chain approximately one inch long. Attach one end to the center loop of the teardrop chandelier using an oval jump ring. String a Swarovski 6mm briolette bead in Crystal Moonlight onto a 2-inch 24 gauge sterling silver head pin and attach it to the other end of the chain by creating a wrapped loop. See our Wrapped Loop Handy Tip for more help. Cut the head of the head pin off. We are using head pins for our links because the gauge is just right for our project. Cut a length of 050 cable chain that is approximately half an inch long. Attach the cut end of the head pin to this chain by creating a wrapped loop. Create another briolette link to attach to the end of this chain. Add another 1/2-inch length of 050 cable chain to the end of the second briolette link. Make another briolette link to attach to the end of this chain. Attach a one-inch length of chain to the end of this link by creating a wrapped loop.
Step four: Cut a length of 065 cable chain approximately 6 inches long. Attach it to the bottom loop of your teardrop chandelier using an oval jump ring. Count six links over from the left of the chain and attach a sterling silver oval quality tag charm to the sixth link using an oval jump ring. Count four links over from this charm and attach another tag charm using an oval jump ring. Keep adding tag charms in this manner. We added 17 tag charms to our chain.
Step five: Attach the open ends of your chain strands to the corresponding loops of another teardrop chandelier using oval jump rings. Cut a 7-inch length of flat cable chain with 3mm beads and attach it to the top of the chandelier using an oval jump ring. Attach an oval jump ring to the end of the chain to make it easier to secure to the trigger clasp.
Step one: String a briolette bead onto a head pin. Attach it to a sterling silver small C-shaped earwire by creating a simple loop. Check out our Simple Loop Handy Tip for more instruction. Cut the head of the head pin off and make another simple loop on the other end.
Step two: Using scraps from your necklace, cut a length of flat cable chain with 3mm beads approximately one inch long. Make sure one of the beads is at the end of the chain. Attach the chain to the bottom of your briolette dangle. Repeat these steps to create the other earring.
