Jewelry FAQ : 925 on the Back of Our Charms

Up | Previous | Next

Q: What does the 925 on the back of your charms mean?

A: The stamp is a 925, which signifies that the charm is made of sterling silver. The 925 is used because sterling silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% metal alloy (usually copper). Some of our charms do not have this stamp for design reasons. Similarly, our 14-karat gold clasps have a tiny 14K stamp on them to signify that they are 14K gold.
