A. Metallite® by ZambaPro® is a line of high-quality jewelry components made of metalized plastic. It's made with methods that are similar to pewter or base metal findings, but with a plastic base. First, the manufacturer creates the component using a plastic mold. Then, once the component has cooled, it goes through an electroplating process that bonds the chosen metal to the outside of the component. All Metallite® components go through a second electroplating process to increase the durability and quality of the finish.
