Rhinestones are all the rage this season! If you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on embellished shoes, consider making your own at a fraction of the cost! Remember, Swarovski flatbacks are not recommended for leather or waterproof fabrics. We found this pair of satin sandals at a discount store for only $15.00!
Step one: Lay out your rhinestones in a pattern of your choosing. We chose larger flatbacks (SS34 and SS20) to make a simple, fun pattern, but what you choose will depend entirely upon the style of your shoe and your personal style.
Step two: Using one hour epoxy, adhere the Swarovski flatback rhinestones to the shoes. For instructions on how to apply flatbacks, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Allow the glue to dry completely before wearing them.
List of Components: Swarovski flatback rhinestones of your choosing, style 2058. We used Crystal Golden Shadow SS34 and SS20 One hour, two-part epoxy (EPOXY-1)
