Artistry and classic charm are words that come to mind when viewing this necklace design. Pair it with a simple top to make a dramatic statement. Because of the unique way this necklace is designed, you can easily remove the large pendant and wear the mother of pearl pendant as the focal piece on days when you want a simpler look.
Step One: Use E6000 permanent adhesive to glue the mother of pearl triangular pendant in black floral to the back of the antique brass drum circle, making sure the pattern on the pendant fits in the center of the circle frame. Let dry.
Step Two: Cut a four-inch piece of ZambaPro 49 .019 jewelry wire. Crimp one end of the wire to a 4mm antique brass-plated open jump ring using a 2x2mm 14k/20 gold-filled crimp tube. For help with crimp tubes visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Trim any excess wire. On the wire, string a 4mm Swarovski faceted bicone in mocca, three bronze head drilled pearls, a mocca bicone, a 6mm Swarovski round pearl in copper, a mocca bicone, three bronze pearls and a mocca bicone. Crimp the end of the wire to a 4mm jump ring using a crimp tube. Trim any excess wire. Set aside.
Step Three: Cut a four-inch piece of wire. Crimp one end of the wire to a 4mm jump ring using a crimp tube. Trim any excess wire. On the wire, string three copper pearls, a 6mm Swarovski faceted roundelle in mocca, an antique vintage brass-plated pewter asymmetrical bead frame with a copper pearl in the center, a mocca roundelle and three copper pearls. Crimp the wire to a 5.5mm antique brass-plated 21 gauge open jump ring using a crimp tube. Trim any excess wire. Set aside.
Step Four: On a 2-inch antique brass-plated 20 gauge eye pin, string an antique vintage brass-plated pewter elegant bead frame with an 8mm Swarovski faceted round in topaz in the center. Step Five: Connect in this order: strand from step three, circle from step one, 5.5mm jump ring, 20-inch piece of antique brass-plated cable chain, 5.5mm jump ring, link from step four, 4mm jump ring, antique brass small flower in knot with leaves circular link, 4mm jump ring, TierraCast antique gold paloma link, 4mm jump ring and strand from step two. Step Six: String the rectangle black onyx pendant with the painting Benedetta Canals by Picasso on an eye pin. Finish with a simple loop. Attach a one-inch section of antique brass-plated leaf chain to the bottom loop on the eye pin. Attach the antique brass flower with crystal link to the top loop.
Step Seven: Use a 5.5mm jump ring to connect the flower section of the antique brass flower and dragonfly hook and eye clasp to the strand at the center jump ring between the two beaded wire sections. Use another 5.5mm jump ring to connect the tail of the dragonfly hook to the crystal link of the pendant dangle from step six.
