This simple, elegant rosary will add a touch of hand-crafted beauty to your daily prayers and meditations. It features Swarovski pearls and a gold-filled crucifix for a timeless look. Since this rosary consists mostly of simple loop links, it is surprisingly easy to make.
Step one: Create a simple loop at the end of a gold-filled 1.5-inch eye pin. For help with simple loops, visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Thread a Swarovski 5810 8mm round pearl in Cream onto the pin. Form another simple loop at the opposite end of the pearl. You have just created a simple loop link.
Step two: Create simple loop links with the remaining five 8mm pearls and the 53 Swarovski 5810 6mm round pearls in Cream.
Step three: Create a short chain with the links by attaching them in the following order: an 8mm pearl link, three 6mm pearl links and an 8mm pearl link. Attach one end of the chain to the gold-filled "IHS" crucifix charm and the other end to the bottom loop of the gold-filled Virgin Mary rosary center charm.
Step four: Begin creating a long chain using a pattern of ten 6mm pearl links and an 8mm pearl link. Repeat this pattern three more times. Finish the chain by adding ten more 6mm pearls. Attach the ends of the chain to the top loops of the rosary center charm.
