Vintage Look Link Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
This necklace is actually easier than it looks and will make a big impression! Perfect for brides, bridesmaids or even the mother of the bride, this necklace will be worn long after the big day is over.
Step one: You will create a 19 inch necklace by linking antique silver pewter large beaded circle links with antique silver pewter small beaded squares using sterling silver open jump rings. Begin with a circle, attach it to the loop end of a 12mm bowed toggle clasp. Alternate links until you have used all 37, finish by attaching the last link to the bar end of the toggle.
Step two: Make the dangles that will hang from the necklace. On each of the 1½ inch head pins, you will string one 6mm Swarovski cream pearl, finish with a simple loop. For detailed instructions on how to make a simple loop please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step four: Find the center link of the necklace (it should be round). Attach the five-pearl link to it using a sterling silver oval jump ring. On the next link on both sides of the center, attach the three-pearl links with jump rings. Continue working out from the center, attach the two-pearl links and then three one pearl links on either side. You now have a vintage looking, wonderful necklace to wear on your special occasion.
