This delicate, light organza ribbon necklace will make you feel like a princess when you wear it.
Step one: Cut a length of organza ribbon to approximately 24 inches. Attach a sterling silver open jump ring to the pendant and slide it onto the ribbon. On both sides of the pendant slide a 6mm sterling silver round bead, a 6mm pink AB fire polished bead, and another round. If you have not strung beads on organza before, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center and click on How to String Beads on Organza Ribbon. Be sure to always work slowly and use beads with smooth holes so you do not fray the ribbon.
Step two: Slide another sterling silver bead on each side, but do not slide it down very far. This bead will be used to conceal the knot you tie to attach the clasp. Determine how long you want the necklace and tie each end to a side of your sterling silver toggle clasp using a square knot. Dab each knot with a touch of GS-Hypo cement glue, and trim the ends. When the glue is dry, slide the silver round over the knot to conceal it. Two simple steps to an elegant necklace fit for royalty!
