The golden tones of this beautiful necklace are reminiscent of a glowing sunset. Combine that with the nature-inspired pieces of this necklace, and you've got an accessory perfect for Earth Day or any day that you want to feel a little more free spirited.
Step One: Cut two three-link pieces (three large ovals) of antique brass-plated textured oval link chain. Attach the two lengths of chain to the antique brass vined heart link using 6mm antique brass-plated open jump rings. For help with jump rings visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step Two: Attach the antique brass swirls link to the chain on the right side of the vined heart link using an open jump ring. Then string in this order: two jump rings and an eye pin. Onto the eye pin thread a 5x4mm roundelle in wasabi/aqua with picasso, a 5mm Swarovski XILION bicone in crystal golden shadow and a roundelle, then finish with a simple loop. For help with simple loops, visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Add another jump ring and the rest of the chain.
Step Three: Cut an approximately 9.5-inch piece of antique brass-plated leaf chain. Attach a 2-inch eye pin approximately half an inch from the end of the chain. String an antique brass beauty bead onto the eye pin and finish with a simple loop. Attach the eye pin to the three-link section of chain on the left side of the center link from step one.
Step Four: Trim the two ends of the necklace to the length you desire. Attach the antique vintage brass-plated pewter star-shaped flower toggle to both ends using jump rings.
Step Five: String a bicone onto a 1.5-inch antique brass-plated head pin. Attach to a small link on the one-inch section of chain from step two by creating a wrapped loop. For help with Wrapped Loops, visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Repeat. String a roundelle on a head pin and attach to the same small link by creating a wrapped loop.
Step Six: Approximately 1.5-inches from the eye pin filled with roundelles, attach the antique brass small butterfly charm to the chain using two open jump rings.
