This simple watch has an elegant touch. We mixed gold-plated heishi spacers with mookaite oval beads for a beautiful result.
Step one: Cut two lengths of approximately four inches each of Beadalon® 49 .018 gold-plated jewelry wire. Attach one end to one side of the watch face with a 2x2mm gold-filled crimp tube. For instructions on how to crimp, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Cover the crimp tube with a gold-filled crimp cover.
Step two: String a mookaite flat oval bead followed by four gold-plated pewter heishi spacers. Repeat this pattern until you have four stone beads. At this point add a Bead Stopper to the end of your wire to hold it and repeat the entire process on the other side of the watch face.
Step three: Measure the watch by holding it to your wrist and add or remove beads as needed. Always finish with at least 3 spacers so that your clasp will close easily. Crimp the wire to the clasp and cover with crimp covers.
