Mrs. Kensington's Mod Summer Cat Collar Instructions Designed by Cheri Carlson
We purchased a pretty orange cat collar at our local pet store for Mrs. Kensington. The collar has white and yellow daisies, so we highlighted the centers of the daisies with sun and light topaz SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS hotfix flatbacks. We chose to go with the sunny summer colors but you will want to choose colors and quantities of flatbacks to suit your collar. Our collar also came with a bell which we removed and replaced it with a darling silver Hill Tribe lady bug bell.
Tip: Be sure to size the collar to your pet before you apply the hotfix flatbacks.
Step one: Using the Bejeweler, attach the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS hotfix rhinestones to the collar. For help using the Bejeweler, please see our Handy Tips section in the Learning Center. The clasp on our collar is plastic and the hotfix adhered to it very well, just take care not to touch the tip of the Bejeweler to the plastic or it may melt.
Step two: Attach the 4.5mm sterling silver split ring to the Hill Tribe silver lady bug bell. We used chain nose pliers to open the existing loop on the collar to remove the bell and replace it with our lady bug bell.
