This long wood necklace is strung on stretch cording so that it can be worn as a long necklace, doubled for a shorter strand, or wrapped around your wrist for a fun chunky bracelet.
Step one: Cut a length of Elasticity .8mm clear stretch cord to approximately 45 inches. Put one end in a Bead Stopper to hold your design securely in place as you bead.
Step two: This is a random pattern, just mix your beads up however you like to reach your desired look. String approximately 38 inches of beads and finish with a square knot. To make a square knot, tie the right side over the left and follow with the left over the right, pull tight. Dab the knot with GS Hypo cement, trim the ends and pull the knot inside the closest bead to hide it. Allow ample time to dry before wearing or stretching the elastic. This is a great project to do with children, since the pattern is random and there is minimal use of tools.
