These Metallite® tube beads are a wonderful alternative to more expensive metal beads. You'll find tubes ranging from ornate to plain. All of them would make lovely accents. These beads are extremely lightweight, making them useful for scrapbooking and other crafts. They're also great for kids and beginning jewelry designers because you won't have to worry about losing or breaking an expensive bead. Metallite® beads look like metal, but they are actually high quality plastic beads. Each bead is created by pouring plastic into a mold and then plating it with a metal finish. All of our Metallite® beads go through an extra plating process to increase durability.
