This beautiful shadow box helps commemorate loved ones who served or lost their lives in war. We gathered several mementos from one of our staff's grandfather's service and created this wonderful memory box for him.
Step one: Cut a length of polyester chain to fit the shadow box you purchased. We let ours hang about 3/4 of the way down the sides of the box.
Step two: Using jump rings attach letters and charms to the chain spelling out the name, Hero, or as we did, Grandpa. Whatever you feel best reflects the person being honored. Using Terrifically Tacky Tape and Quick Hold Craft Glue, attach the mementos, charms and beads to a piece of cardstock.
Step three: Throw in some loose Fire Designs cane glass beads in camouflage and Americana color mixes.
